Discharge: 11 Oct. 1864, with promotion to 1st Sgt. He was wounded by gunshot wound in left leg, just above the knee; rec'd at Corinth, Mississippi, Oct 3, 1862. Also wounded in left shoulder at Mud Creek, Mississippi, 20 June 1863.
