Donald Eugene "Doc" Rector

Donald Eugene "Doc" Rector, 70, formerly of Waukegan, Illinois, died at March 19, 1998 
at Marion, Illinois where he moved in 1996. He was born February 26, 1928 in Mt. Vernon, 
Illinois, was a Waukegan resident for over 48 years and had been a Marion resident for 
the past 2 1/2 years. 

Mr. Rector served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict and before his 
retirement worked at Johnson Motors for 35 years. 

He is survived by his wife Clara Rector of Marion; two sons, Jeffrey (Lisa) and Douglas 
(Maria) both of Highland Park, Illinois; proud grandfather of Catherine, Mary and James; 
three step-daughters, Pam (Tom) Rhodes, Brenda (Paul) Hart, both of Zion, Illinois and 
Carol Webb of Waukegan, Illinois; brothers, Wilford (Ruby) of Dix, Illinois, and Paul (Linda) 
of Kell, Illinois; sisters, Wilma (Buck) Larson of Mt. Vernon, Illinois, JoAlice (Charles) 
Walker of Dix, Illinois, Shirley (Larry) Huff of Elkville, Illinois, Mary (Larry) Summner of 
Texico, Illinois and Thelma Rector of Centralia, Illinois. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife, Florence (Tennyson) Rector and sisters 
Roberta and Carol. 

Visitation will be held Friday, March 20, 1998 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Meredith-Blue 
Funeral Home, Marion. 

Visitation will be held Sunday, March 22, 1998 starting at 4:00 PM until time of service 
at 7:00 PM at the MARSH FUNERAL HOME, 305 Cemetery Road, Gurnee, Illinois with Reverend 
Joe Boerman officiating. 

Burial will be at Highland Memorial Cemetery, Gurnee, Illinois.
