John Cannon Ryan

Services for John Cannon Ryan 74, of Byng, Oklahoma are at 10 AM Friday at Criswell Chapel. 
The reverend Roger Arter will officiate. Burial follows ar Fort Sill National Cemetery in Elgin, 
Oklahoma.

Mr Ryan died Saturday Dec 6, 2008 At his home. He was born Aug 1, 1934 to Arthur Merl and 
Letha Snyder Ryan.

Survivors are his wife Gidget Ryan 5 daughters LeAnn Ryan of Sarasota Fl Kelly Hughes 
North Carolina, Janice Ryan Pensacola Fl, Kim Herring, Lone Star Tx, and Angie Grooms, 
Gainsville Fla. A Stepson, Greg Cochran, two sisters Stella Rinehart, Lincoln Il and 
Goldie Ball Goodfield, Il and a brother Frank Thomas Ryan Tulsa Ok. 

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Mary Sale.

John Cannon was a Grandson of John Cannon Ryan(Rhynes) of Mt Vernon, Il and a Great 
Grandson of William Hamilton & Nancy Harris Rynes,  one of Jefferson County's early 
pioneers in 1850-1860.
