Phyllis Jane Saari

Saari, Phyllis Jane, 75, died in her home on Tuesday, May 22, 2007, surrounded by her family. 
She was born to Rudolph and Ruby Woerter in Mt. Vernon, Illinois and lived as a girl in Evansville, 
Indiana. Jane worked as a bookkeeper at Goodyear Tire Co. and retired in 1983 from Joe's Seat Cover 
and Car Wash. She loved the ocean and beaches, collecting sea shells, and travelin g with her husband, 
Robert, who survives her. They were married for 34 years. Jane was known for her quick sense of humor, 
and her kindness to others. She was a Sunday School teacher, a Blue Bird leader, and active in the 
school PTA. She will be remembered with love by her three daughters Mary Pritchett and Kathryn Price 
of Wichita, KS, and Sandra McDonald (John) of Clearwater, KS. Jane had three grandchildren, 
Greg Davis, Kelly Johnson, and Eric Price, and four great-grandchildren. 
Per her request, no services will be held. Memorials may be sent to the Humane Society, 4218 
Southeast Blvd, Wichita, KS 67210.
