William Hermann and daughter, Beatrice were dinner guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Westaby at Rush last Sunday. This dinner was given in honor of Marlene Williams of Stockton who was four years old that day.

Mrs. Cora Roberts has received word of the death of her cousin Thomas Westaby of Yahima Washington. His death occurred suddenly on Good Friday. Mr. Westaby was the son of the late Charles and Mary Westaby. He was born and raised in Thomson township, JoDaviess County, and will be remembered by many people here.
