Mrs. Rosanna Wise, widow of the late J. Wise, of New California was united in marriage this (Thursday) afternoon, to Mr. Wm L. Hope, an old and highly respected citizen of this city. The ceremony took place at the residence of Mr. George Rittenmayer, on Commerce Street and was performed by the Rev. A.C. Smith, of the South Presbyterian Church. Mr. and Mrs. Hope will remain in Galena during the winter, and will remove in the Spring to the property owned by Mrs. W., in New California.
