One hundred and twenty five people attended the annual Townsend reunion which was held at the Eureka school house on Sunday. Forty families were represented and officers for next years reunion were names as follows. President - S.A. Townsend; Secretary and Treasuer- Mrs. Rebecca Coppernoll; Grounds Commitee - S.A. Townsend, Arthur Townsend, Albert Townsend; Entertainment Committee - Mrs. Howard Glazier of Rockford - Mrs. Julia Atkins of Shullsburg WI - Mrs. Bessie Shaney of Cedar Falls IA - Mrs. Ruby Lynch & Dr.Loretta Lyons of Stockton.
