Poem transcribed from Carl Lee Rainbolt's tombstone.

That One Special Day

It all began in sixty-three. A son was born named Carl Lee. His home was planned up above, with four parents, to share his love.

Ronnie and Frances gave birth you see, but Mary and Clyde shared what was to be. Giving, caring, and love in his life, shared by a Son, Husband and Wife.

Mary and Mike would carry the load, helping Carl down that bumpy road. Troubles and trials filled his life, then he met LaRonna, she became his wife.

To this union God heard their call. A son was born to bless them all. They called him Cody, he was their test. As parents would they do their best.

The time was short, but Carl was tall. As a Dad he gave Cody his all.

"If I have left something to do, it would be to say, I love you. I didn't want to leave, but I had to go. LaRonna, take care of Cody, I love him so. Throw him, hold him, and bounce him on your knee. Let him know how special he was to me".
