Carrie Elizabeth Moake

Carrie Elizabeth Moake, 70, Marion passed away at 10:10 PM, Thursday, July 10, 2003, at her residence.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 PM, Sunday, July 13, 2003 at the Blue Funeral Home in Marion with Dr. Bob Wagner officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00 PM until the time of service on Sunday. Burial will be at Cana Cemetery in Goreville, Illinois. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.

Carrie was born on May 5, 1933 in Williamson County, Illinois to John and Amy (Tippy) Jackson. She married Bennie Moake on February 1, 1956 in Murphysboro, Illinois and he preceded her in death on October 12, 1997.

Survivors include her children, Kathy & Curt Frey, Cindy and Mark Mapps, Jeff and Toni Moake and Robin Schaefer; grandchildren, Brandon Crosson, Miranda Stearns, Cody Moake, and Olivia Frey; step-children, Sharon Blades, Brenda Stilley and Clyde Moake; her mother, Amy Jackson; and sisters and brother-in-law, Sandra and Walter Denfip and Phyllis Herron.

She was also preceded in death by her father; sisters, Mary Ruth Riddle and Nancy Shaefer.

She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She was loved by all and she loved all.
