Charles M. Hayduk

Charles M. Hayduk, son of John G. Hayduk & Cora F. (Meloni) Hayduk, was born November 2, 1945 in Mt. Union, PA. He departed this life Friday morning, June 3, 2005 at the National Institute of Health in Bethesda, Maryland. At the time of his passing, Charles had attained the age of 59 years, 7 months, & 1 day.

Charles was united in marriage to Jeannine L. (Hoffman) on November 30, 1968 in Huntingdon, PA. She survives.

Other survivors include: a Daughter – 1st Lt. Heather Wayland & her husband 1st Lt. Joseph Wayland of Tucson, AZ; 3 Brothers – Robert J. Hayduk & his wife Sally of Annandale, VA, Ronald B. Hayduk & his wife Judy of Westminster, CO, & Gary P. Hayduk & his wife Linda of Fairview Heights, IL.

Charles served in the United States Army from 1965 – 1967. He was a member of the American Legion.

Charles was a 1973 Graduate of Penn State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Mining Engineering. He had been employed as an Environmental Protection Specialist with the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency.

Charles was a member of the Vienna First United Methodist Church. He enjoyed reading & computers.

Funeral services will be held Friday morning, June 10, 2005, at 10:30 AM at the Vienna First United Methodist Church. Rev. Ed Hoke will officiate. Interment will be in the Vienna Fraternal Cemetery. Military graveside rites will be accorded.

Friends may call from 5 PM - 9 PM Thursday at Bailey Funeral Home in Vienna.
