Faye E. Junas

Faye E. Junas, age 68 years, a resident of Carbondale, and a former resident of Johnson County, passed away Thursday, Nov. 22, 2001 at 6:15am at The Abbey of Carbondale.

She was born April 22, 1933 in Tunnel Hill. She was the daughter of Ralph Brooks and Edith (LEONARD) Brooks.

Faye is survived by the two sons, Larry Junas of Oswego, Craig Junas of Aurora; two sisters, June Smart of Goreville, Vicki Baker of Bowling Green, Ky.; three grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Faye was preceded in death by two brothers and an infant sister.

Faye was a homemaker. She had also been employed as a beautician.

Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon, Nov. 24, 2001, at 3pm at the Bailey Funeral Home in Vienna. Rev. Ron Ferguson officiated. Burial was in the Taylor Cemetery, north of Vienna.
