Jason R. Treat

 Jason R. Treat, 18, of Grand Chain, died at 5:55 a.m. Wednesday, February 10,1999 in an auto accident near Karnak.

Jason was born September 7, 1980 in Cairo, and was of the Methodist faith. He was employed by Consolidated Grain and Barge Co.

Survivors include his mother Peggy Treat of Grand Chain and his father Carroll Treat of Cypress; one sister Rasheanda Treat of Grand Chain; one brother Teddy Treat of Grand Chain; his grandparents Bud Treat of Cypress and Margie Casper of Independence, Mo., and Betty and Jerry Altenberger of Karnak; great grandmother Sarah Treat of Cypress.

Graveside services were held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, February 14 at the Cypress Masonic Cemetery in Cypress with Rev. Anthony Underwood officiating.

Visitation was held from 5-9 p.m. Saturday, February 13, at the Wilson Funeral Home in Karnak.
