Judy Ann Mathis

Judy Ann Mathis, daughter of Richard Scott & Jule (Davis) Scott, was born January 25, 1940 in Carbondale, IL. She departed this life Wednesday afternoon, November 2, 2005 at her home in Murphysboro, IL.
At the time of her passing, Judy had attained the age of 65 years 9 months & 9 days.

Judy was united in marriage to Marvin R. Mathis on December 14, 1963 in Murphysboro, IL. He preceded her in death on March 15, 1988.

Survivors include: A Daughter – Pam Moss & her husband, Craig of Edwardsville, IL; A Son – Mark Mathis & his wife, Jennifer of Greensboro, NC; 4 Grandchildren – Zane, Gabriel, Griffin, & Lauren; 5 Sisters – Jane Woepke of Kirkwood, MO, Susan Wright of Murphysboro, IL, Mary Overton of Louisville, KY, Sharon Burns of Dowell, IL & Betty Bronke of Tamaroa, IL; A Brother – Rick Scott of DuQuoin, IL; Mother-in-Law – Bertha Lingle of Anna, IL; Several Nieces & Nephews.

In addition to her Parents & Husband, Judy was preceded in death by: 2 Brothers – Bill Scott & Allen Scott.

Judy had worked as a Clothing Department Sales Clerk at Dillard’s Department Store in Marion, IL.

Judy leaves her family & friends to cherish her memory.

Graveside services will be held Sunday afternoon, November 6, 2005 at 2 PM at the Vienna Fraternal Cemetery.
Rev. Jack Shelton will officiate.
Friends may call after 5 PM Saturday evening at the Bailey Funeral Home in Vienna.
