Marie Z. White Reinhart
Marie Z. White Reinhart, 80, of Bonfield, formerly of Goreville passed away, Thursday, March 14, 2002, at Provena St. Mary Hospital, Kankakee. Friends called from 11:00a.m. until noon Tuesday, March 19, 2002 at Meredith Funeral Chapel, Goreville. Graveside services were held immediately following the visitation at Busby Cemetery, Goreville with Rev. Ron Ferguson officiating. Marie was born November 14, 1921 in Herrin to Ted and Eva (MARTIN) Craig. Her husband Robert White preceded her in death on November 5, 1985. On July 17, 1993 she married John Reinhart in Manteno. Survivors include her husband, John Reinhart of Bonfield; four sons and three daughters-in-laws, Bill and Sandy White of Mattoon, David and Barbara White of Westminster, Colorado; Lowell and Eula White of Cypress, Texas; five daughters and four sons-in-law, Linda and Charles Grant of Kankakee; Debbie and Mike Spilsbury of Kankakee; Sharen and Jerry Anderson of Bradley; Rose and Calvin Zelhart of Momence and Mary Haslett of San Diego, Calif.; three stepsons; four stepdaughters; one sister, Shirley Schriefer of Bradley; two brothers, Charles Craig of Vienna and Paul Craig of Seattle, Washington; nineteen grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and six step great-grandchildren. Marie was a member of the First Baptist Church, Manteno. She had worked at Manteno State Hospital for thirty years before she retired. She loved reading and writing poems and sent them to be published in the Daily Journal in Voice of the People. |
