Mary Catherine Mighell

Mary Catherine Mighell, age 71, of Goreville, passed away Friday, May 19, 2000 at Marion Memorial Hospital.

She was born Nov. 9, 1928 to the late Willie & Pauline (BOZUE) Smith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy R. Mighell whom she married on August 28, 1947. Also preceded her in death was one sister, two sons, Russell & James and one daughter, Ramona.

Survivors include 3 sons Ronald, Mike & Raymond Mighell all of Goreville. 3 daughters, Martha Ethridge, Nina Albright and Amanda Pulley all of Goreville, one sister, Wanda Burks of herrin and one brother, Elza Lee Smith of Carbondale. 4 grandsons, 11 granddaughters, and 2 great-grandsons.

Funeral services were held Monday, May 22, 2000 at 2p.. at Whitnel Funeral Home in Goreville. Rev. Ron Ferguson officiated. Burial was in Busby Cemetery.

Whitnel Funeral home was in charge of arrangements.
