GOREVILLE - Bonnie D. Royster, 71, of Chicago,
formerly of Goreville, died at 6:10 p.m. Monday, Jan. 3, 1995 at home
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in
Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion with burial in Chapman Cemetery;
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mrs. Royster had worked at Vaughn's
Store, the Goreville post office and as a homemaker. During
World War II she built airplanes in Evansville,, Ind.
She lived the last 20 years in
Chicago. She was a former member of Eastern Star, and a
member of Trinity Methodist church and the church senior citizen group
in Chicago.
She was born March 31, 1923, in
Goreville to Owen and Mary (Rowe) Russell.
She married Franklin Royster in
Goreville on June 12, 1947. He died Nov. 6, 1987.
Survivors include on son, Russell
Royster of Chicago; one daughter, Mrs. Stephen (Kay) Corsere of
Bollingbrook; two grandsons, Angelo and Antonio Corsere, both of
Chicago; one brother, Vernell Russell of Florida; and two sisters, Opal
of Kentucky and Agatha of Florida.
Her parents and one brother, Orville
Russell, also preceded her in death.
