William A. Sullivan

William A. "Bill" Sullivan, 69, of Lowell, Ind., formerly of Goreville died at 10:05 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 20, 1993, at Hines VA Medical Center in Hines.
    Graveside services were at 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct 23, in Cana Cemetery, Goreville, with the Rev. Dennis Greene officiating.
    Mr. Sullivan was born to Edgar and Willhelmena Fisher Sullivan on Nov. 1, 1923, at Cincinnati, Ohio.  He married Nathalie Mattox on May 8, 1946 at Piggott, Ark.  She survives.
    Other survivors include three sons, Mike of Marietta, Ga., James Patrick of Shelby, Ind., and Fred of Lowell, Ind.;  two daughters, Scarlett LaVelle of Cedar Lake, Ind., and Colleen Styck of Ellington, Mo.; 13 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; four brothers, George of Lake Station, Ind., Roger of Hobart, Ind., Donald of St. Louis, Mo., and John; four sisters, Helen Barringer and Ruth Larson, both of Schererville, Ind., Susie Weaver of Freemont, Mo, and June Lamphere of Goreville.
    He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and one grandson.   
    Mr. Sullivan was a member of Bible Fellowship Church in Cedar Lake, Ind.  He grew up and resided in Goreville until his marriage, at which time he moved to Indiana.
    Memorials may be made to the Building Fund of the Bible Fellowship Church, 10820 141st Avenue, Cedar Lake, IN 46303.
    Meredith Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
