Evelyn L. Throgmorton, 78, of Marion died at 10:15 p.m. Saturday, March, 14, 1992 at the Marion Memorial Hospital.
    She was homemaker and of the Protestant Faith.
    Born on Jan. 126, 1914 in Johnson County she was the daughter of Daniel Lee and Eva Ethel (Russell) Toler.
    Survivors include: three sons, Jack Throgmorton of Broughton, Ill, Jerry Throgmorton of Plano, Tx., and Fred Throgmorton of Marion; two daughters Mrs. Bill (Donna) Bullock of Johnston City, Dr. Edward (Gloria) Corder of Murphysboro; 10 grandchildren; four great grandchildren; on brother, Larry Toler of Bennington, VT.; four sisters, Pauline Newlin of Herrin, Naoma Martin of Xenia, Ohio, Leanna Tate of Dayton, Ohio and Mary Miller of Tipp City, Ohio.
    She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and one infant sister.
    Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion.  A visitation will be held from 5-9 p.m. Tuesday evening at the funeral home.
    Burial will be held in the Coal Bank Springs Cemetery in Williamson County.
    Memorials may be given to the Marion Memorial Hospital.
