Victoria J. Sullins 1848 - 1909
Mrs. Victoria J. Sullins, wife of M.V. Sullins, died at her home in Creal Springs on Tuesday evening of last week, after a lingering illness at the age of 61 years, 6 months and 13 days. The funeral and interment took place at Reynoldsburg cemetery, in this county on Wednesday with the funeral services conducted by Eld. L. L. Smoot, of Marion. The deceased was a most excellent woman, mother of Chas. M. Sullins and Mrs. Jno. L. Whiteside, a sister of Jas. E. Lambert, of Ozark. She was the daughter of Uncle Hezekiah Lambert, deceased, formerly a well-known citizen of the Northeastern part of the county. She was a member of the Missionary Baptist Church and lived a devoted Christian life. She had always made her home in Johnson county until some two or three years ago when she and husband moved from Ozark to Creal Springs to make their home the remainder of their lives. Mrs. Sullins has gone to reap her eternal reward for a well-spent life. |
