Richard I. Little

 Richard I. Little, 93, of Metropolis, passed away at 10:05 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 24, 2005, at Massac Memorial Hospital in Metropolis.Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday, Nov. 28, 2005, in Aikins-Farmer Funeral Home in Metropolis, with the Rev. Gary Cruse officiating. Burial will follow in Masonic Cemetery in Cypress. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home.

He is survived by one son, Paul Little of Metropolis; one stepdaughter, Jane Lewis of Metropolis; one stepson, Pete Wachter of Metropolis; one niece, Virginia Harrison of Clinton; three grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two step grandchildren; three step great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James Newton and Mamie Ann (White) Little; his wife, Marie; two sisters, Inez Earnest and Bernice Meyers; and one brother, Arthur Little.

He was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church in Metropolis and an Army veteran of World War II. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in the name of Richard and Marie Little to Immanuel Baptist Church 1119 Market St., Metropolis, IL 62960.
