Ruby P. Moore

Ruby Moore, daughter of Gardener Moore & Nellie (Vinson) Moore, was born April 24, 1916 in Goreville, IL.

She departed this life Sunday evening, August 10, 2003, at 9:30 p.m. at the Briarcliff Integrated Health Care Services in Birmingham, AL. At the time of her passing, Ruby had attained the age of 87 years, 3 months, & 17 days.

Ruby’s Survivors include: 1 Brother: Leslie Don Moore of the Lake of Egypt; and several Nieces & Nephews.

In addition to her Parents, Ruby was preceded in death by: 5 Sisters: Carrie Parrish, Mabel Moore, Ella Lannom, Mary Lowery, & Mildred Brummit; 3 Brothers: Heber Moore, Ernie Moore, & Pleas Moore; and a Dear Friend, Ellsworth Davis.

Ruby was employed as a nursing attendant at the Shapiro State Hospital in Kankakee, IL. She retired in 1976. She was of the Protestant Faith.

Ruby leaves her family & many dear friends to cherish her memory.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 13, 2003, at 1 p.m. at Bailey Funeral Home in Vienna, IL. Rev. Jerry Lingle will officiate. Burial will be in the Webb Cemetery, near Tunnel Hill, IL. Friends may call from 12 Noon – 1 p.m. Wednesday at Bailey Funeral Home.
