W. L. "Bill" Dameron

W. L. "Bill" Dameron, son of George Dameron & Molly (CRIDER) Dameron, was born June 22, 1913 in Gillian, MO. He departed this life Monday afternoon, February 9, 2004, at the Humboldt General Hospital in Humboldt, TN.

At the time of his passing Bill had attained the age of 90 years, 7 months, & 18 days.

Bill was united in marriage to Mary Lucille (BUCKNER) in December 1940. She survives.

In addition to his wife, Bill is survived by; a Son - Mike Dameron, & his wife Pat, of Humboldt, TN; 2 Grandchildren - Trey Dameron & Nicole Fritts; 2 Great Grandchildren -  Cody Land & Gunner Dameron.

In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by; 2 Sisters & 1 Brother.

Bill was the former owner & operator of Dameron Livestock Auction Company & the Dameron Feed Service. He was an auctioneer for many years.

Bill was a member of the former Vienna Lions Club. He was a dedicated & devoted member of the Vienna First Baptist Church, where he had formerly served as a trustee. Bill was a hard worker & devoted family man. He enjoyed antique collecting.

Bill leaves his family & friends to cherish his memory.

Funeral services will be held Friday, February 13, 2004, at 1pm at Bailey Funeral Home in Vienna. Dr. James W. Cecil & Rev. Bill Gholson will officiate. Interment will be in the Vienna Fraternal Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 - 8pm Thursday at Bailey Funeral Home in Vienna. Memorials are suggested to the Vienna First Baptist Church, P. O.
