Wanda Kerley

Passed away Thursday, August 25, 2005 at 6:33 AM at the Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO.

Born: September 28, 1929 in Johnson County, IL. She was the daughter of Paul L. Stewart and Thelma C. (Taylor) Stewart.

Wanda was united in marriage to Wade L. Kerley on July 21, 1948 in Vienna, IL. He survives.

Wanda was a graduate and instructor for 17 years at the Elgin Beauty Culture. She also operated the Contour Beauty Shop for 13 years.

Wanda was a Past Matron of the Bethel Chapter #291 Order of the Eastern Star. She was a member of the Simpson Baptist Church, and was an avid sports fan.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, August 28, 2005 at 2:00 PM at the Bailey Funeral Home in Vienna. Rev. Richard Martin and Rev. William Barrett will officiate. Burial will be in the Vienna Fraternal Cemetery.

Visitation will begin at 6:00 PM Saturday, August 27, 2005 at Bailey Funeral Home.
