An open house Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 25, will celebrate the 50th wedding anniversary or Mr. and Mrs. Frank Yocum, Franklin Grove. The party will be held from 2:30 to 5 o'clock in the afternoon and 7 to 9 o'clock that evening. At noon the Yocums will entertain their family and close friends with a dinner in the Methodist church.

The Yocum's were wed Thanksgiving Day, Nor. 24, 1904 in the home of her parents, the Z.S. Fairchilds, Melugin's Grove. They have seven children; Mrs. Bryon McCracken, Ashton; Mrs. Jake Adams, Oregon; Ralph, Leaf River; Mrs. Charles Charleston, Sterling; Vernon, Rockford; Mrs. Lawrence Cage, Los Gatos, Calif.; and Dale, West Brooklyn. They have 25 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

The guestbook used for the anniversary open houe will be the same one used at the honored couples' wedding.
