Dixon, Lee County Dixon

From the collection of Mrs. Frances Stitzel of Nelson comes an old photograph which appeared in the Evening Telegraph 30 August 1947. The photograph was of the third grade class of 1891 at the Red Brick Schoolhouse. The school was taught by Miss Frankie Stewart who later married Miller C. Stitzel late Nelson postmaster and was a correspondent for the Telegraph for 48 years.
