Gilbert Albertson to Grace Brill

The marriage of Miss Grace Brill, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Brill of Harmon and Gilbert Albertson, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Albertson of Graymont, took place the morning of November 15, at 10 o'clock in the Emanuel Lutheran Church of Dixon. The Rev. C.L. Wagner read the ceremony.

The bride was attired in a navy blue velvet dress with black accessories. Her corsage was made up of pink roses, blue pom poms and white tube roses.

As maid of honor Miss Betty Albertson of Graymont wore a beige dress with black accessories. In her corsage were mums in fall shades.

Leroy Albertson of Graymont, cousin of the bridegroom was best man.

For her daughters wedding Mrs. Brill chose a navy blue crepe dress and a corsage of pink and white carnations. Mrs. Albertson also wore a navy dress with pink and white carnations.

Following the ceremony a dinner was served at the Nachusa Hotel to members of the immediate families. Decorating the table were an arrangement of pink and white flowers and a wedding cake decorated in the same colors.

The couple left on a wedding trip to Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania & West Virginia. For traveling the bride chose a suit of brown gabardine.

After March 1, Mr.and Mrs. Albertson will make their home on a farm south of Dixon. The bridegroom has been engaged in farming with his father since his discharge from military service.
