Mrs. C.A. Ullrich of Route 3 Amboy, organist and Jean Miles of Lee Center, vocalist, presented the pretty nuptial music. Vari-colored Gladiolias decorated the church.
The bride wore a white taffeta dress with navy blue accessories and a corsage of red roses.
Verna Morning of Lee Center, maid of honor, wore a yellow eyelet embroidery dress and a pink carnation corsage.
John Miles of Lee Center was best man.
A reception was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs John Miles.
When the newlyweds left on a wedding trip to Chicago the bride was wearing her wedding dress. The couple will reside in Glenview IL.
The bride is a graduate of Lee Center High School with the class of '48, and the groom who attended Lima Ohio school is stationed at the Glenview Naval Base.
Lee Center's Congregational Church was the scene for the July 17th wedding of Maxine McBride daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jerry McBride of Lee Center to George Freeman, Jr. son of Mr. and Mrs. George Freeman of Lima Ohio. Rev. A.M. Hainer formerly of Lee Center officiated.
