Thomas Kettley to Ida Eller

When Ida Eller, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hobard Eller of Shabbona, became the bride of Thomas Kettley, son of Mr. and Mrs. George Kettley of Steward, she was wearing a white crepe gown and carrying a bridal bouquet in a prayer book arrangement.

The double ring ceremony was performed at the Catholic church in Lee by Rev. Fr. Curran.

Mrs. Edward Quinn, sister of the bride, acting as matron of honor, wore a floor length gown of blue crepe and carried an arm bouquet of pink roses. Mr. Quinn acted as best man.

Both mothers chose navy blue crepe gowns and had corsages of pink rosebuds.

Following the ceremony a reception was held at the home of the brides parents for relatives and close friends.

At 2:30 a three course dinner was served from a beautifully appointed table, centered with a large wedding cake topped with a miniature bride and groom.

Thomas has been assisting his father on the farm and the bride has been living with her parents in Shabbona.
