Lorenz Heiman

The will of the late Lorenz Heiman of Compton, whose death occured April 10, was filed for probate before Judge Grover Gehant in Lee County Court today by Judge B. Harry Reck of Mendota. The inventory listed personal property of $11,500 and real estate valued at $21,500. A brother John Heiman of Compton is named executor of the estate.

The will provides that the property of the deceased located in Compton and the sum of $1,000 is bequeathed to Caroline E. Miller of Compton for her faithful service as his housekeeper. A bequest of $50 is left to Arthur J. Truckenbrod of Mendota, son of a deceased sister Margaret Truckenbrod. The remainder of the estate is divided as follows: one fourth to be divided equally among Capt. John Eggers who is in service; Phyllis McCrary of LaMoille, children of a deceased sister Elizabeth Eggers; one fourth to be divided equally among Henry F. Wendel of Mendota, Arthur J. Wendel of LaMoille, Verna L. Rod of LaMoille, Irene Hoffman of Van Orin, and Olive E Mollen of LaMoille, children of a deceased sister Amelia Wendel; one eighth to Walter Heiman, Lester Heiman and Leona Heiman all of Compton, children of a brother John Heiman; three eighths to be divided equally among Lydia Truckenbrod, Adeline Truckenbrod, and Eleanor M Truckenbrod,all of Mendota, children of a deceased sister Margaret Truckenbrod;
