Minerva is buried to the east of Zebulon, and their son, Horace is buried just west of Zebulon. They came to Logan county in the late 1830ís and lived on Sugar Creek. My great great grandparents, Oliver John Quincy and Ruth Elizabeth (Bowles) Adams lived east of the cemetery in the southeast quarter of Section 13 of Eminence township, at the time of their deaths in 1875 due to Consumption (TB). They are both buried in Old Union cemetery in DeWitt County. Her parents were: Anderson and Margaret (Carter) Bowles, and her grandfather was Rev. Hughes Bowles, who was the pastor of the Old Union Christian Church which stood nearby the cemetery
