Edwardsville, Spt. 4th, 1820
Regimental Orders.

The commandants and subaltern officers of the several companies in the regiment of militia under the command of Col. William Parkison, together with the field and staff officers in the said regiment, are hereby ordered to appear on the public square in the new part of Edwardsville, on the 26th day of September inst. at the 10 o'clock, A. M. for the purpose of military discipline. The commissioned officers will bring their commissions with them.

And the field and staff officers and the several companies in the said regiment, are also ordered to appear at the same place, on reginemtal mustar. And as the regiment will be reviewed by His Excellency the Governor, it is expected that each officer and soldiers will appear armed and equipped, as the directs.
