The People of the State of Illinois to Stephen Kirkendall,
GREETING:
Whereas Mary Kirkendall has filed in the clerk's office of our Madison Circuit Court, a libel for a divorce from you, for certain causes therein set forth: -- We therefore command you to be and appear before said court, to be holden at the court-house in the town of Edwardsville, on the third Monday of September next, to show cause, if any you have, why her prayer for a divorce should not be granted.
