Barbara S. Cahill, 57, 0f 402 Leafland Avenue, Centralia, died Friday, Dec. 12, 1993 at Jewish Hospital in St.
Louis. She was born in Centralia on Feb . 22, 1936, the daughter of Raymond H. and Virginia (Kinsall) Smith. Her
mother, Virginia Redmond of Centralia, survives. She married John W. "Jack" Cahill, Jr. in Centralia
on Aug 21, 1955 and he survives. Also surviving are three sons, Eugene Cahill of St. Louis, John Cahill of Springerton
and David Cahill of the U. S. Navy, stationed in Jacksonville, Fla.: a daughter, "Ginger" Cochran of
Centralia; two half-brothers, George Redmond and David Redmond of Centralia; and six grandchildren. Mrs. Cahill
was a member of Central City Baptist Church and was a housewife. She traveled for 20 years with her husband, who
was serving in the U. S. Air Force. They then moved to Florida and returned to Centralia in 1980.
Dr. Ron Bracy will officiate at funeral services at Irvin Funeral home in Centralia at 4 p.m. Sunday. Services
will be followed by cremation. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Sunday until time of services.
Funeral Services for Miss Jennie
Clark, well known and highly esteemed woman of this city, were held Sunday
afternoon from the Baptisit Church with the pastor, Rev. Seville S. Borum, officiating. Interment was made
in East Lawn Cemetery. Miss Clark died at 3AM Thursday at the home of her brother, Mr/Mrs Frank Clark, on
Nth Marion St. She had been ill less than one week, being stricken while attending a Baptist covention
in Vandalia on April 3rd. Miss Clark worked in the local abstract office, now known as the W. O Roddy Abstract
Co., for 48 yrs. She was a very active member of the local baptist church. ... (no date)
Mrs Mary A. Clow passed away Wednesday Morning, December 15 at 1:30 AM at the home of her son, John Clow, near
Centralia. The body was brought to the Linton & Beery Funeral Home, where funeral services will be coductd
tomorrow morning (Friday), Rev. D. E. Melton officiating. Interment will be made in the Evergreen Cemetery.
Mrs. Clow, who had attained the advanced age of 91 y, 9m, 19d, was a former resident of this city and will be remebered
by our older citizens. (1937)

Paul E Crundwell departed this life Friday evening, August 9, 1935. He was born January 2, 1884 at Iuka,
IL., the son of Samuel and Alice Humphrey Crundwell. On November 29 1917, he was united in marriage to Elsie Hayward,
and to this union 3 daughters, Mary Jane, Alice and Marcena were born, who survive......(no date)
