Died- At the resd. of R. S. Nelson, Esq., in the City of Centralia, on the 16th of Dec., 1863, Mrs. Anna VAUGHT, in the 64th year of her age.
The deceased was born in the City of Philadelphia, and resided there until womenhood. From thence she removed to Illinois and was married to the late Thomas F. Vaught, of Shawnetown, Gallatin County, IL who departed this life in 1840. This exemplary lady was, through her long and useful life, a kind and affectionate mother and friend, a devoted Christina and her loss falls heavily upon her surviving friends just at this time, as her death is the second death in the house of her son-in-lae in one short month. Mrs. Vaught was the mother of Mrs. R.S. Nelson, of Centralia and Mrs. James M. Pace of Mt. Vernon.
