February 14, 1867

Married, in this city, February 6, at the resident of Samuel Camp, Esq., by Rev. John Winn, Nathaniel M. Rollins and Miss Jane Akerly.

Rollins-Akerly
The residence of Samuel Camp, Esq. on Wednesday evening last, was a scene of a most delightful wedding, a large gathering of friends both in and out of town performing the pleasing task of escort duty of Mr. N. M. Rollins and Miss Jane Akerly into the enchanting state of matrimony. Doubtless it was the largest gathering of the kind called together here for years, and the entertainment was gotten up on a scale commensurate with the means of the managers, and the wants of the hour.  The sumptuous repast, the most perfect cordiality that prevailed, the good music both vocal and instrumental that was rendered, and the overflowing humor that "prossessed" several of the company, which contributed richly to the mirth and jollity of the rest, added much to the hour ant the occasion.  To Mr. and Mrs. Rollins life opens auspiciously, and blessed with the abundance of life's "wherewithal", it can but be measured to them in joyous fullness to overflowing.  We join in the good wishes that they may find together their ardent anticipation - congeniality, hence true delight.

Varna

A. W. Miller, our poplar druggist, has seen fit to take unto himself a wife; went to Chicago Saturday last and his lovely intended met him there, accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Sutton of Rutland, relatives of Mr. Miller. The ceremony took place there and Wednesday’s Chicago Record gave the whole thing away. The bride, Miss Minnie Nealy, is well known and a highly esteemed young lady of this place, and has hosts of warm friends in and around town who congratulate Mr. and Mrs. Miller sincerely, wishing them joy and happiness. We are pleased to know they will continue to make Varna their abiding place.
