--Mr. and Mrs. W. W. Holz and family spent Monday, March 28, in Peoria, being
their 15th wedding anniversary and upon their return home found their yard
full of cars of their relatives who had gathered to help remind them of the
day. The evening was spent in cards and music, after which lunch was seraved,
prepared by the guests. They all departed for home wishing Mr. and Mrs. Holz
many more returns of the day.

--Misses Juanita Clanin, Dorothy Beckwith, Midred Schumacher and Mildred
Carrithers, all of Normal, were week-end guests of their respective
parents.
--The Ghiglieri family, with the exception of Barney, are all under quarantine
at their home here, the reason being that Bernard, the small son of the family,
has contracted a very light and slight attack of diphtheria. The boy
is up and around the house and seems to be getting along fine.
--J. L. DuPlain transacted business in Toluca last Saturday.
--Dan Reece of Ottawa, spent the week-end at the S. Leone home.
--Mr. and Mrs. Ora Peterson and Mr. and Mrs. Walter Peterson all of Rockford,
were Sunday guests at the Pete Peerson home in this city.
--Edwin Foster, who spent the past week with his parents, returned to Streator
Saturday, where he will resume his work.
--Mr. and Mrs. August Nenne of near Lacon, spent Sunday here with their daughter,
Mrs. Lester Imm and family.
--Fred and La Verne Peterson of Rockford motored down to Toluca Saturday
evening to spend Sunday with their parents.
--Miss Edna Nenne of near Lacon is spending a few days in the city with her
sister, Mrs. Lester Imm.
--Mr. and Mrs. Dr. Potts of Lacon spent Sunday in Toluca with friends.
--Ben Cinotti of Williamsfield spent Sunday with his wife here.
--Mr. and Mrs. Ray Gallagher of Streator, and baby, were Sunday visitors
at the John Gallagher home.
--Joe Pesenti of Williamsfield was an over Sunday visitor with his home folks
in Toluca.
--Mrs. August Bjork of Rockford, was a caller among friends here the latter
part of the week.
--Mrs. Clara Hedrick was reported on the sick list a few days last week.
