The Class of 1895
Henry Republican, Henry, IL June 24, 1915
The class of 1895 was the first large class to graduate from the Henry high school. There were 22 members, four boys and eighteen girls. Of this class, two are deceased and many are scattered to various parts of the world, Charles Worthington being in Borneo; Mrs. Beatrice Grawburg Corey, in California and Mrs. Daisy Morgan Huff, in Washington, D.C. The remaining members are not so widely scattered. Of this large class only nine were able to attend the reunion - Mrs. Stella Dick Waughop and Mrs. Lizzie Monahan McManus, were kept away by illness, but otherwise would have been present. The class of 1895 have always been closely drawn together by something stronger than ordinary school ties and these reunions mean a great deal.
