The Sunday-school work in Mason County has been immensely developed within the past few years, and is a valuable auxiliary to educational interests. The number of Sunday schools in the county, at the present time, is 45; number of teachers, 334; number of officers, 181; number of scholars, 3,483, making a total membership of 4,018. The number of volumes in the Sunday-school libraries, is 997, and the number of Sunday-school papers in circulation is 3,792. The amount of money raised for Sunday work, during the past year, is $1,043.38, a very small sum compared with the good work that has been done.
