Forest City, Ill.--Mrs. Elbert Bishop, 42 years old, died at noon Tuesday at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Edward White, following a long illness.

The body was taken to the Johnson funeral home where it will remain until 1:30 p.m. Wednesday. It will then lie in state at the Edward White home until 2 p.m. Thursday when services will be held at the Baptist church. The Reverend George W. Terjung of Lincoln will deliver the sermon. Interment will be in the Pleasant Hill cemetery.

Mabel Erma White Bishop was born October 31, 1897, to Edward J. and Mary E. White, Forest City.

Surviving are her husband, Elbert Bishop, Lincoln; her parents, Mrs. and Mrs. White; her sister, Virgie, wife of Holly Kennedy, Forest City; one brother, Roy M. White, Forest City; one daughter, Dorothy Ruggles, and two step chldren, Bobby and Virginia Bishop.
