BATH - Deloris Ann Boyer, 70, of Bath passed away at 10:45 p.m. Saturday, April 12, 2008, at St. John's Hospital.

She was born Dec. 6, 1937, in Lincoln, to Oliver E. and Versie Creason Richardson. She married Clinton "Doc" Boyer on Dec. 26, 1956, in Chandlerville; he preceded her in death on June 6, 2007.

Mrs. Boyer is survived by three children, Cathy (David) Julius of Rolla, Mo., Kevin Boyer of Havana and Carol (Danny) Gallagher of Athens; nine grandchildren, Jenni Gaub, Michael Witt, Alicia Lewis, Klint Boyer, Brett Driver, Klayton Boyer, Abigail Gallagher, Kassie Boyer and Asher Gallagher; and two great-grandchildren, Meaghan Boyer and Morgan Albert.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; four brothers, Joe, George, Chubby and infant brother, John Edward Richardson; and a half brother, James Richardson.

Mrs. Boyer was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Bath. She worked for more than 20 years at Mason District Hospital in Havana, retiring as dietary director.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 15, 2008, at Hurley Funeral Home in Havana. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, April 14, 2008, at the funeral home. Burial will follow the services in Bath Cemetery. The Rev. Vince French will officiate.
