Raymond L. Carlock Peoria Journal Star, June 21, 2001, Page: B04 PEORIA HEIGHTS - Raymond L. Carlock, 91, of Peoria Heights died Monday, June 18, 2001, at OSF St. Clare Home. Born Dec. 19, 1909, in Bath to Lewis and Mabel Blanche Farris Carlock, he married Hilda Avery on Sept. 19, 1934, in Virginia, Ill. She died Dec. 15, 1976. He also was preceded in death by one brother and four sisters. Surviving are two sons, David (and Cindy) and Larry (and Lory), both of Peoria; two daughters, Connie (and Tom) Trunk of Peoria and Nancy Stiarwalt of San Jose, Calif.; one brother, Jack of Chandlerville; one sister, Janet Shores of Springfield; 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews. He had owned and operated Central Illinois Provision Co. in Peoria before retiring. He was of the Protestant faith. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Lintner-Buchanan Funeral Home in Chandlerville, where friends may call one hour before. Burial will be in Chandlerville Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or to any charity.
