MANITO - Tony Cooper, 56, of 806 Prairie Lane died at 10:46 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 1, 2003, in the emergency room at Mason District Hospital in Havana.

Born Feb. 22, 1947, in Canton to Donald and Mildred Hopping Cooper, he married Lisa Reynolds on Oct. 8, 1983, in Manito. She survives.

Also surviving are his parents of Havana; two sons, Robert (and Stacey) of Havana and Michael of Manito; one daughter, Lisa Hebb of Havana; two sisters, Bess (and John) Morris of Columbia, S.C., and Billie Lane of Spring Valley; and five grandchildren.

A Vietnam War Air Force veteran, he was a member of Havana Veterans Foreign Wars Post 6408.

He was a service technician for Muzak Co. in Peoria for more than 21 years, last working Friday.

He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Havana.

Services will be at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Maas Funeral Home, where visitation will be 21/2 hours before. Tony Reynolds will officiate. Cremation will be accorded after the services.

Memorials may be made to the Michael Cooper Education Fund, in care of Peoples State Bank in Manito.
