Chandlerville - Mrs. Minnie Crafton, 68, of Chandlerville, relative of several TIMES area residents, died at 11:25 a.m. Sunday, May 26, 1974, in Memorial Hospital at Springfield. She had been a patient there 12 days.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Lintner-Buchanan Funeral Home. Rev. Andrew Everly will officiate and burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.

Friends may call this afternoon and evening at the funeral home.

A daughter of James and Rosetta Watkins Pherigo, she was born Jan. 2, 1906, in Cass Co. She married Raymond Crafton May 2, 1925, at Saidora. He preceded her in death in 1973.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Herbert (Rosemary) Naylor of Carpentersville and Mrs. Gerald (Kathryn) Watkins of Chandlerville; seven sisters, Mrs. Wilmer (Marie) Nall of Pekin, Mrs. Paul (Mary Ann) Kuhlman of Havana, Mrs. Noah (Katie) Johnson, Mrs. Johnny (Ella) Johnson, Mrs. Paul (Maudena) Atterberry, Mrs. John (Berniece) Griffie and Mrs. Eddie (Iona) Garner, all of Chandlerville.

Also surviving are four brothers, Eugene Pherigo of Chandlerville, Ernest of Havana, and James and Clifford Pherigo, both of Pekin, nine grandchildren and several neices and nephews.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, a sister and two brothers.
