Beardstown - Margaret Greenman, 82, of Beardstown died at 9 a.m. Monday [April 6, 1987] in Florida.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the First United Methodist Church, Beardstown. Burial will be in Bader Cemetery.
Sager Funeral Home, Beardstown, is in charge of arrangements.
Surviving are one brother, Lyle Henderson of Pompeno Beach, Fla.; two sisters, Imogene Haffner of Dayton, Ohio and Lois Huffman of Mason City.

Jesse Griffin was born in Tazewell County of this state December 14, 1847, died at the home of his son Harmon of Wheaton, Montana February 9, 1915. He came with his parents and made this his home until 1912 when he went to Montana where he resided until the time of his death. He was married to Sarah C. Robinson to which union were born seven sons five of which died in infancy. His companion preceded him in death November 9, 1910. Two sons Horace of Jerseyville, Illinois and Harmon of Wheaton, Montana. Three grandchildren, a stepsister, Mrs. Sarah Maynard of Mason City, a stepbrother G. D. Cleveland of Homer, Michigan and other relatives and friends are left to mourn their loss. While yet in his youth he accepted Christ as his Savior and united with the Baptist church of Walkers Grove of which body he was a member at the time of his death. He had been a constant sufferer for three years but bore it all cheerfully, and patiently awaited his calling home. He was a kind husband a loving father and a friend to all who knew him.
