Havana - Dudley Eldon Lippert, 77, of Havana died Thursday, July 8, 2004, at his home.

He was born July 22, 1926, in Mason County, the son of J. Evans and Telva Dobson Lippert. He married Joanne Blanchard in 1947 in Oregon.

Mr. Lippert worked as a school custodian and maintenance man, as a farmer and at a food store and clothing store. He was a member of Church of God of the Abrahamic Faith. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and the Korean War.

Survivors: wife, Joanne; two sons, Mark Lippert of Williamson, S. C., and Jon (wife, Revonda) Lippert of Pelzer, S.C.; daughter, Telva (husband, Greg) Elwell of Pelzer, S.C.; three grandchildren; a great-grandchild; brother, James Lippert of Rockford; and three sisters, Luella Eller of DuBois, Wyo., Nadine Ross of Kirkland, Wash., and Myrna Williams of Mount Morris.

Services: 2 p.m. today, Hurley Funeral Home, Havana, the Rev. Alan Cain officiating. Burial: Laurel Hill Cemetery, Havana.
