Woman Is Found Dead
Returning from Forest City, where she and her father attended a Modern Woodmen picnic, and when her mother failed to answer her call, Miss Minnie Elizabeth Riggins found her mother, Mrs. Elizabeth Riggins, dead on a sofa. She had refused to attend the picnic with her husband and daughter, saying she was not feeling well.

She is survived by another daughter, Mrs. Clara Short, residing near Mason City.

HAVANA - William B. Ritchey, 81, of Havana died at 10:05 p.m. Saturday at St. Francis Hospital in Peoria.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Hurley Funeral Home, Havana. Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery, Springfield.

Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. David (Montelee) Pietrzak of Havana; one son, Bill of Portland, Ore.; and one sister, Mrs. Myrtle Lee Zimmerman of San Francisco, Calif.

Kills Himself While Hunting
Havana, Aug 2 - Edward Russell, 16 years old, shot himself while climbing over a gate and died almost instantly. He was hunting squirrels.
