BATH - Dicky L. Richardson, 49, of Bath died at 11:13 a.m. Tuesday [August 1, 1989] from injuries suffered in an automobile accident.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Hurley Funeral Home, Havana. Burial will be in Bath Cemetery.

Surviving are his wife, Cheryl; parents, Mr. and Mrs. James Richardson of Bath; one son, Richard L. of Bath; one daughter, Robin Richardson of Havana; two grandchildren; four brothers, Wayne of Beardstown, Jerry and James Jr., both of Bath, and Robert of Kenney; two sisters, Mrs. Charles (Connie) Danner of Du Quoin and Mrs. Ernest (Barb) Richardson of Kilbourne.

Note: His wife maiden name was Cheryl "Sherry" DeFord.

George Richardson

BATH - George Arlan Richardson, 73, of Bath, Ill., died at 10:25 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 16, 2006, at St. John's North in Springfield, Ill.

He was born July 16, 1932, in Mason County, the son of George W. and Florence M. Jones Richardson. He married Vera Lindsay on April 27, 1957, in Bath, and she survives.

Also surviving are three sons, Rick (Deanne) Richardson of Chandlerville, Ill., Brad (Beth) Richardson of Bath and Randy (Lori) Richardson of Deland, Fla. Eight grandchildren, Jason, Martin, Courtney, Megan, Clint, Julia, Joel and Jessica Richardson, also survive. Also surviving are two sisters, Marge Dooley and Evelyn Carlock, both of Bath; and five brothers, John of Jacksonville, Ern of Kilbourne, Larry "Chub" of Kewanee, Jim of Kilbourne and Mike of Easton, Ill. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister.

Mr. Richardson was a career Navy man serving in the Cuban Missile Crisis, Korea and Vietnam. He spent 21 years in the U.S. Navy, retiring in August of 1973.

He was a lifetime member of the Disabled American Veterans and was an extra ham radio operator (KB9QNJ).

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Hurley Funeral Home in Havana conducted by Rev. Delbert Penrod. Burial will be in the Bath Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5 until 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.

BATH - George F. Richardson, 55, of Bath died Wednesday, Aug. 9, 2006, at St. John's Hospital.

He was born March 28, 1951, in Lincoln, the son of Oliver E. and Versie Creason Richardson. He married Pamala Perkins in 1970 in Bath.

Mr. Richardson was a mechanic and truck driver.

Survivors: wife, Pamela; son, Christopher A. Richardson of Bath; daughter, Danielle Richardson of Bath; three grandchildren; two brothers, Chub Richardson of Bath and Curtis Richardson of Havana; and two sisters, Ann Boyer and Geraldine Richardson, both of Bath.

Graveside services: 11:30 a.m. Monday, Bath Cemetery.

Hurley Funeral Home in Havana is in charge of arrangements.

BATH - George F. Richardson, 55, of 6926 Illinois Route 78 died at 3:06 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 9, 2006, at St. John's Hospital in Springfield.

James Richardson

BATH - James H. Richardson, 80, of Bath died at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 10, 1995, at his residence. Born April 28, 1915, in Stoutsville, Mo., to Oliver Edward and Theodosia Dooley Richardson, he married Lida Creason on March 22, 1937, in Lincoln. She survives.

Also surviving are four sons, Wayne of Beardstown, Jerry and Jimmy Jr., both of Bath, and Robert of Kenny; two daughters, Mrs. Charles (Connie) Danner of DuQuoin and Mrs. Ernest (Barb) Richardson of Kilbourne; three half brothers, Chub and George, both of Bath, and Curtis of Havana; two half sisters, Ann Boyer and Geraldine Thomas, both of Bath; 13 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. Two sons, Dicky L. and Larry, and one brother preceded him in death.

He was a hydraulic lab technician for the State of Illinois' Department of Transportation, Division of Waterways.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Hurley Funeral Home in Havana. The Rev. Mark Horn will officiate. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 tonight at the funeral home. Burial will be in Bath Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the Home Health Department of Mason District Hospital.

BATH - L. Chubby Richardson, 59, of 8033 N SR 78, Bath, Ill., passed away at 10:23 a.m. Friday, March 9, 2007, at Graham Hospital in Canton, Ill.

He was born March 28, 1947, in Easton, Ill., the son of Oliver Elbert and Versie Creason Richardson. He married Marette Abbott on July 13, 1964, and later married Debbra S. Pierson on July 4, 1998, in Bath. She survives.

Mr. Richardson was a member of Labors Local 231, Pekin, Ill., a log hauler and did construction work.

He is survived by one son, Shane (Carrie) Richardson of Springfield, Ill.; one daughter, Amy Jo (companion: Josh Bartels) Richardson of Chandlerville; one step-daughter, Nikki (Phil) Lahey of Springfield; and six grandchildren. Also surviving are one brother, Curtis (Pam) Richardson of Havana; two sisters, Ann Boyer and Geraldine Thomas, both of Bath; and one sister-in-law, Pam Richardson of Bath.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Rodney; and four brothers, John Edward, James O., James H. and George.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Hurley Funeral Home in Havana. Burial will be in the Bath Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4 until 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

BATH - Lida Richardson, 80, of Bath died at 12:42 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 6, 1999, at Mason District Hospital in Havana.

Born Jan. 3, 1919, in Green County, Ky., to Edward and Betty Milby Creason, she married James H. Richardson Sr. on March 22, 1937, in Lincoln. He died Sept. 10, 1995. She also was preceded in death by two sons, Dicky and Larry, one half brother, two sisters, three brothers, four grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.

Surviving are four sons, Wayne of Beardstown, Jerry and Jimmy Jr., both of Bath, and Robert of Kenney; one sister, Sarah Nelson of Middletown; one brother, William Creason of Buffalo, N. Y. {KY?}; one stepbrother, Delmar Morrison of Quincy; 12 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.

She was a member of Bath United Methodist Church.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at Hurley Funeral Home, Havana. The Rev. Mark Horn will officiate. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Bath Cemetery.

She was born Jan. 3, 1919, in Green County, Ky., the daughter of Edward and Betty Milby Creason. She married James H. Richardson Sr. in 1937 in Lincoln; he preceded her in death in 1995. Also preceding in death were two sons, Dicky L. and Larry Richardson.

Mrs. Richardson was a homemaker and member of Bath United Methodist Church.

Survivors: four sons, Wayne (wife, Sharon) Richardson of Beardstown, Jerry Richardson and Jimmy Richardson Jr., both of Bath, and Robert (wife, Karol) Richardson of Kenney; 12 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandson; a sister, Sarah Nelson of Middletown; a brother, William L. Survivors: mother, Cheryl Richardson of Bath; a sister, Robin Daniels of Bath; grandmother, Lida Richardson of Bath; grandfather, Charles DeFord of Bath; step-grandmother, Frances DeFord of Bath; two nieces; two nephews; and companion, Terry Wolfe of Peoria.

Remains were cremated.

Memorial services: 11 a.m. Saturday, Hurley Funeral Home, Havana. Burial: Bath Cemetery.

Rodney Richardson

BATH - Services for Rodney Lee Richardson, 30, of P.O. Box 191, who was pronounced dead at 8:35 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 9, 1996, four miles northeast of Havana, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Hurley Funeral Home in Havana. He died after his car struck a deer.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Bath Cemetery, where graveside rites will be accorded by Havana Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6408.

He was born Aug. 13, 1966, in Havana to Leroy "Chub" and Marette Marr Richardson.

Surviving are his father of Bath; his mother, Marette Abbott of Chandlerville; one brother, Shane of Bath; two sisters, Brandi Rich of Bath and Amy Richardson of Chandlerville; and his grandparents, Benny Marr and Frances Marr, both of Chandlerville.

He was a heavy equipment operator in construction.

He served in the Air Force.

Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation.
