One of the newspaper clippings accompanying the above record shows that Lot North Miller was born in Kentucky, April 4, 1812, and died at El Paso, Illinois, in his 92nd year, also that he had a daughter, Mrs. Rollins, of Gridley, Illinois, that the latter had a daughter, Mrs. W. P. Brooks, then deceased and that the last named also had a daughter, Mrs. Ben Hershe, who had a child, and the five persons mentioned had sat for a five generation photograph two years before.

Another clipping shows that James E. Miller was born at Millersburg, Ind. in 1841, married Sarah E. Kelso at Florence, Ind. about 1860, and died Rowland, Iowa, Nov. 13, 1907, leaving three children surviving, viz. Harry Miller and Mrs. Scott Cable, Bloomington, Ill. And Mrs. E. G. Mossman, Rowland, Ia. Also a sister, Mrs. James Rollins, Gridley, Ill.
[Note: Mrs. Cable resided at Oaklandon, Ind. 1926.]
