The following pages are copied from the original records in the old Bible, which is now
(1945-ish?) in the possession of the Misses Blanche Du Bois and Maud Irene Abbott, residing at 406 East Jefferson St. in Bloomington, IL. Owing to the great age of the book, some parts were difficult to decipher. But, fortunately, I was able to verify the dates in "Documents and Genealogical Chart of the family of Benjamin Du Bois of Catskill, New York. Compiles by Anson Du Bois D. D. and James G. Du Bois." Published by Press of Peter Eckler of New York in 1878.

The title page for the Old Testament is entirely missing; but the title pages of the New Testament and the Psalms are as nearly like the original as it is possible to make them on a typewriter.
Respectfully submitted, Miss Maud I. Abbott
