The next two named are in line of descendancy of John Hall, d. 1794
The last three named are in line of descendancy of Hezekiah Hall, d. 1811.
Note: all the Elishas listed have the surname Hall. Now add to the list the surnames that came into the family through the marriages of the daughters and the list grows. This was particularly true in the southern branch of the family.
The use of distinguishing middle names and/or initials came late.
The reader should by now realize that the use of the death date, if known, was a useful tool in sorting out the family members of similar given names, as above.
